Hey everyone. It's that time again to renew our RN licenses. For me and the rest of the new nurses it's the first time that you have to make sure you have 24. One way to get them is through your job. A lot of jobs offer inservices that count towards your CE credits. Also, your BLS and ACLS definitely count. If you realize its getting close and you need credits now a lot of nursing journals and magazines offer them, sometimes at a price which is generally reasonable. Also, they have conferences all the time, which generally can be used as a tax deduction towards employment. A great place to look for more information is allnurses.com. Also, once you get your credits make sure you keep your paperwork for at least five years since all audits are randomized.
